Local Network and Device Access Permission for Quill & Dias
This pop-up is an expected (but new) notification since Autumn 2025. It is safe to allow this notification.
Recently, some web browsers (such as Google Chrome) have become extra cautious about how websites communicate with your computer.
Quill – Browser permission needed for eID
The Quill platform can work with the eID middleware (to enable signing with your eID). To reach your "local network" (= the middleware on your PC), your browser requests permission.
This permission is necessary to be able to sign documents using Quill.
What you should do
- Grant Permission / Allow: Please allow the connection to devices on your local network.
- If You Blocked It Anyway , please follow these steps below.

Dias – Browser permission needed for eID
The Dias platform can work with the eID middleware (to enable authentication with your eID). To reach your "local network" (= the middleware on your PC), your browser requests permission.
This permission is necessary to be able to authenticate sign using Dias.
What you should do
- Grant Permission / Allow: Please allow the connection to devices on your local network.
- If You Blocked It Anyway , please follow these steps below.
