Improved signer (form) field preview in document editor.
API Enhancements
- Document language interfacing
Ability to define document language via API, impacting a signature’s static labels. - Skip unnecessary steps in signer dialog
Streamlined signing flow by skipping optional dialog steps.
Integrations
- Evidence report sync via connectors
Evidence reports can now be automatically stored in external systems.
Word of caution: update fetchArtifacts v1 API call
In Quill 3.5 there will be a change in behavior of the fetchArtifacts v1 API call
This update applies specifically to situations where
- an EVIDENCE_REPORT is requested alongside other artifacts (e.g. DOCUMENT) and on top of that
- the report is unavailable, e.g. the document isn't signed
Current Behavior (Pre-3.5)
The API silently ignores the absence of the evidence report and successfully returns the other requested artifacts.
New Behavior (3.5+)
The API will no longer ignore the missing report and will instead return an error: "The report is unavailable"
We believe this change better aligns with the integrator's intent and will prevent situations where the evidence report is not properly retrieved.
