On Tuesday, June 16th, we will release a new version of the Quill platform to the QA environment. The production release will follow on Tuesday, June 30th 2026. Both releases are scheduled around 08:00 AM and service disruptions can take up to approximately half an hour.

If you want to follow up on this release in real-time, you can check https://status.dioss.com.

What’s new in this release?

This release delivers a mix of targeted improvements, bug fixes, and new features, ensuring a smoother user experience today while preparing the platform for tomorrow’s growth.

Key highlights include

  • Assign a default signing method to a specific user: currently Quill allows you to define the available signing methods at company or folder level. From now on you can define a default signing method for a user, which will automatically be used when creating documents via the UI.
  • Continue document flow after completion:  this feature allows you to edit and continue an already completed approval, signing or delivery flow.
  • Signer fields visualization: signer fields now support the possibility to automatically wrap text based on the predefined containers' dimensions, together with a maximum character limit which can be set for form fields where input is required.

Gentle Reminder : update fetchArtifacts v1 API call

In Quill 3.5 there will be a change in behavior of the fetchArtifacts v1 API call

https://quill.dioss.com/docs/swagger-ui/?urls.primaryName=v1#/Documents/DocumentsResource_fetchArtifacts

This update applies specifically to situations where

  • an EVIDENCE_REPORT is requested alongside other artifacts (e.g. DOCUMENT) and on top of that
  • the report is unavailable, e.g. the document isn't signed

Current Behavior (Pre-3.5)

The API silently ignores the absence of the evidence report and successfully returns the other requested artifacts.

New Behavior (3.5+)

The API will no longer ignore the missing report and will instead return an error: "The report is unavailable"

We believe this change better aligns with the integrator's intent and will prevent situations where the evidence report is not properly retrieved.
