RELEASE NOTES QUILL - v3.6

On Tuesday, September 15th, we will release a new version of the Dioss Sign platform to the QA Environment. The production release will follow on Tuesday, October 6th.

Both releases are scheduled around 08.00 AM and service disruptions can take up to approximately half an hour.

What’s new in this release?

This release delivers a mix of targeted improvements, bug fixes, and new features, ensuring a smoother user experience today while preparing the platform for tomorrow’s growth.

Key highlights include

  • UI & UX : 
    • New branding: Quill is now Dioss Sign. Together with a new name, the entire brand has been updated with changes to the default colors, logo and login, forwarding and post-signing pages.
    • Editor fields: The editing possibilities of the signer fields in the document editor are now explicitly visualized.
    • Email template customisation: The relevant placeholders used in each template are now context (template) aware. The documentation now clearly describes which placeholder is used in which template.

  • API Enhancements:
    • Document create email customization: The list of possible templates to use for customizing notification emails have been extended.
    • Contact creation: A dedicated API has been added to the V2 endpoints to create contacts (folder related guests) via the API.
  • Signing : 
    • Smart-ID: Support for SK-ID's Smart-ID signing has been added to the list of possible signature types.
    • EU Digital Identity Wallet: Preparation for supporting the EU Digital Identity wallet as a signing method have been added.
    • Remote signing using MyGov.be: Preparation for supporting remote signing using MyGov.be has been added.
    • Sandbox signature: Support for a sandbox simple electronic signature, without a timestamp or seal, used for testing purposes, has been added.
    • Guest Link Confidentialy: An explicit warning about the confidentiality of guest links has been added to default mail templates for guest links.
    • Multisign: The number of multisigners on a single document has been limited to 1000 users..
    • Sign Date Attribute: The dynamic attributes of a signer (used in form fields) now include the signing date.
    • One-time kiosk users: Kiosk signers are no longer forced to provide an email adres. A one-time kiosk user can be used which holds no email address.
    • Kiosk signing on own device: Kiosk signers can scan a QR code, which allows them to sign the document on their own device.
  • Approval
    • Approval visual annotation: It's possible to visualize a stamp on the document when it has been approved.
