Quill Data Processing Agreement

Subject: Major change in itsme® functionality from 2025 - Input requested

We would like to inform you about an important change in itsme® functionality coming into effect from 2025. As you may know, the National Registration Number (NRN) is currently requested automatically through itsme®. This process will no longer take place automatically from 2025. This change is due to the fact that itsme ® by default returns a signature without NRN.

To ensure that the use of itsme® continues to run smoothly within your organisation, we have prepared two versions of a Data Processing Agreement (DPA). These DPAs have been adapted to comply with the new regulations and ensure that data exchange continues to take place securely and correctly.

Do you have any questions or would you like support with the process? Please do not hesitate to contact us via email or telephone.

We thank you for your cooperation.

The Quill Dioss team

What do we ask of you?

  1. To read the DPAs carefully.
  2. To select the version that best suits your use case and your use of itsme® namely with- or without a state registration number.
  3. Return the selected DPA filled out and signed to us. This can be done simply by uploading a signed copy below.
DPA (Data Processing Agreement) Quill NRN (EN) V20250211 DPA (Data Processing Agreement) Quill NONRN (EN) V20250211

Why is this important?

Ensuring the correct legal basis for processing personal data is essential. With this signed agreement, both your organisation and we comply with legal requirements and continue to facilitate safe and efficient collaboration. If you make use of the NRN, you must obtain consent from the GBA (Belgian Data Protection Authority). This should be discussed with your legal department.

What happens if you do not respond?

If we do not receive the signed DPA in time (before the end of February 2025), this may affect the use of the national registration number (NRN) through itsme®. In that case, the standard procedure of setting up access without a national number will be applied. We therefore advise you to complete this step as soon as possible to avoid any restrictions.

Upload the signed DPA here and we take care of the rest.
