RELEASE NOTES QUILL V3.0

QA release date: 25/03/2025 - PROD release date: 15/04/2025

This document provides information about the release of Quill v3.0 (April 2025). Quill v3.0 will be released to the QA environment on 25/03/2025 and to the production environment on 15/04/2025.

What’s new in this release?

  • Improved Navigation for Guest Signers - Enhances the user experience by providing clearer navigation for guest signers, ensuring they can easily return to their document after viewing other sections.
  • Optimizing Webhooks - Introduces limits and optimizations to webhook calls, improving efficiency and reducing unnecessary requests.
  • Automatic Guest User Cleanup - Now configurable for improved user management.
  • Enhanced Dossier Tracking - All signers are now visualized in the document overview.
  • Improved Auditing - Key folder and company settings are now tracked in the company insights overview.
  • Enhanced Security - Added document virus scanning and increased account safety measures.
  • Form Field Enhancements - Dynamic attribute values are now previewed in the document editor and signer view.
  • Add Signatories Overview for Dossiers - Provides a clear overview of all signatories within dossiers, improving visibility and tracking of signing processes.
  • Multi-Sign Reporting - Implements a reporting feature to track multi-signature processes, offering better insights into completed and pending signings.
  • Data Type Object - Standard Values - Allows predefined standard values for data type objects, enhancing efficiency in document processing.
  • Modify Placeholder Opacity Behaviour - Adjusts how placeholder opacity behaves in documents, ensuring better visibility and usability for users.

Patch v3.0.0-B2

Patch v3.0.0-B2 will also be deployed on production. This patch includes a number of targeted improvements based on feedback from our users and internal quality checks.

  • No more deletion emails with SCIM synchronization - The user notification settings can now be configured via SCIM, additionally Quill will no longer send automatic deletion mails to users registered via SCIM .
  • Redirect URL for bulk signing - It is now possible to set a redirect URL for bulk signing, allowing registered users to be automatically redirected to a desired page (e.g., confirmation, follow-up flow, etc.) after completing the signing process.
  • itsme® recognizes users across environments - Quill now supports remembering itsme® identities, resulting in a more consistent and smoother user experience.

What’s planned for the next release?

We are committed to further enhancing Quill and have exciting features planned for the next release, scheduled for the start of the next quarter:

  • Guest Key Expiry Configuratio - Enable administrators to define expiration rules for guest access keys, enhancing security and access control.
  • Signer Selection Interface - Improved user interface, making it easier and more efficient to select and assign signers within the platform.
  • Global Enforcement of OIDC-Only Login - The next Quill release ensures OIDC-only enforcement applies globally across the tenant for regular users, preventing regular credential logins on any URL.
